So, okay, on the one hand, I can understand why you'd AA a pet. Cool color, cool name, whatever, I get it.

On the other hand, it PISSES ME THE F OFF when one of MY pets gets AA'd in transfer!!!

I mean, c'mon now, we ought to have a list of "Neofriends members whose pets are off-limit to AAers"!! :K

Can you be a little clearer on what happened? You sold an account and they put your pet up for adoption? I'm not sure

but now, u can try and ask the adoptor to give it back...politely.

 

No, actually, I haven't swiped anyone's pets. I'm interested in the less personal aspects of getting ahead... pull one over on TNT? Sure. Pull one over on another player? Mean. =P

I am talking to the adopter, and -cross fingers- I'll recover my pet.

Yes, I could report if I was sure it was AA'd. Adopting is legal, AA'ing isn't.

But then they'd just freeze the account WITH my pet on it, which I don't want.

I just picked up the AAer to use for TRANSFERRING my OWN pets only.

Unless I see something REALLY good.

So, um, how long can/should I leave it running? An hour? Or can I leave it on all the time?

Just wondering... if, for example, I know a pet will "eventually" be pounded (i.e., a pet UFA) but they may not necessarily be pounded within the next hour or so, would it be safe/smart to use?

Well it just doesn't make any sense, then, because I KNOW some people must just wander around looking for pets to add to their list.

I mean, I had no indication that the pet I just lost was UFA or would be transferred in any way -- it was a spur-of-the-moment decision to transfer it to another account. And I was dual-browser, QAL-constant-refreshing, before my abandon-browser had even FINISHED LOADING the abandoning, and -poof- pet was gone.

So obviously someone knows something I don't. :K
