I know alot, probably most people use photoshop, but I have been using paint.net off and on for the past 2 years. I was wondering if anybody else used it as well? I know the paint.net site has some more add ons and different effects to try, but anybody know of anywhere else to get them?
I use and love pdn I really only get my plugins from the forum site, and have a bunch recommended to me through different tutorials
I got my new laptop this summer after my old one got fried. I couldnt get all my old info, just a few things like luckily my itunes library, and a some old files. But all of my paint.net plugins and extra fonts and stuff like that were lost. I havent gone back and gotten the old ones I used to have, but I have been looking at them recently. I havent been able to find some of them, and it seems like the forum has slowed down a little?
I use it too. I love it. I can't really afford photoshop, but it is way better than the regular paint that comes with a computer. I like a lot of the features it has.
Nooo. XD I use Photoshop CS4, Paint Tool SAI and...paint. o.o Not usually paint though. Just for pixels. It's the best program for that. 8D In fact, I don't think I've ever used Paint.net before.. @___@; Photoshop is the best.<3 And PTS with the tablet, which I love 9:
paint.net is old school. I haven't really used in recently but couple years back it was definitely useful for me in everyday use. I upgraded to photoshop though. D:
Yeah, I have never really used photoshop before. Ive used PDN for awhile off and on, and Ive also used firefox before for school. I dont wanna pay the ridiculous amount of money it is for photoshop, and dont wanna download it otherwise at the time being xD
Ive never heard of it either, how old is it? Im just getting into GFX and got PS CS3, so yea, just curious as to how owld paint.net is, may check it out.
Well I have hear little bit about it. But having no any type of experience about it. As I hear about it I think its easy than Photoshop to learn as well as to understand. As I want to know more about it and also want to know how old it is.
If your looking for an alternative I usually use splashup it's a web based photo/image editor. It has a lot of cool features found in Photoshop. I'll include the link http://www.splashup.com/
I used to but eventually switched to photoshop but it came in handy and worked really well ^^ MOD EDIT: user already warned for gravediggin.
I use paint.net for really fast stuff, you don't ever really need photoshop unless you really make use of the more advanced features. Generally gimp/paint.net are more than enough for my purposes.
