Depends on what you're using it for? Mac is better in terms of photo/video editing, making graphics & music etc. But if you're into gaming, you should probably get a Windows since most games are tailored towards that OS.
Agreeing with escalade there. Windows is pretty nice allround, I dont think mac is that much better for graphical work to loose all the gaming options for.
Alienware mx17 over here /I5 @3.8ghz / 16gb ram / 120 SSD Hd / 650 Sata HD / Thats whats you really want!
I dont know, ever since Dell took over Alienware the brand has been getting a bit dodgy to be honest.
Well i have had mine for about 4months. the: Slot drive has completely broken, screen cable connecter has chipped of, resulting in a partial green screen/ the skrews have rounded off at the bottom to i cannot get inside to fix the laptop. i could go on/
>.< See? Quality has gone down the hill. Im fairly lucky I bought my M17x when Dell just took over the Alienware. Its been fairly steady, but the delivered charger makes noises as if it will explode soon, when I unplug it from my laptop. Also wasn't very pleased when Nvidia and Windows dropped support for Hybrid graphics. But overall, it still works after 4 years of usage - Few days ago I gave it a big cleaning, and whew that was needed. Was pulling strips of dust from the exhausts of my fans. x)
I just love reading how in depth some of you go I really can never decide but I usually will always choose pc... idk why...
nope not really. there's a complete void in mac when it comes to gaming. i had a mac earlier and the only way to play decent games was to dualboot windows.
Macs are generally much more expensive (~1.6x) more expensive than their Windows counterparts. However, Macs can easily run windows (ie: bootcamp, parallels, etc)
I have had a mac for a year now and it is just so much faster and easier to use than a pc. But I also run windows 8 virtual machine on it so I can run neo programs which helps a lot
Not true... The Call of Duty franchise is officially adapted/released to Mac OS X, as well as popular games like League of Legends, Bioshock... Also, you can install things like Bootcamp or Virtual Machines to play Windows games on a Mac (without any lag, etc)
I don't even know how to use a mac. They confuse the hell out of me. So, no. I prefer the much more user-friendly pc, personally.
