"I've been Iced!" Thread

Frozen for "Cheating" when I had 0 connections with my IP to my main account. ._.
Never ss'ed or used programs or anything.

This doesn't make any sense. I've been buying from the attic with buy times of <0.3s for over two months now (including four Draik Eggs). 0.6s is almost a humanly possible time. She must have done something else to draw attention to herself.

 

Lol, yeah that's pretty funny. I woulda been iced like a thousand times now.

how many times a day to you rekon they hear that as an excuse?

 

Used score sender and sent in a "safe" score. Whooops. Liked my account name too.

 

This account was using an 'auto buyer' to buy things from Neopet shops.


Mweh. Sucks. 5 mil NPS and about 10 mil in items down the drain :/ I knew something was up in the evening when I was getting errors while searching shop wizard or withdrawing NPs from my shop.

I generally used times of 1.9 in Book Shop / Stamp Shop.

 

Ive only had one account frozen , because i was super young & wanted game avatars. I dont even remeber how this happened but i ended up giving my password to this girl to get a game avvie for me. When i logged back on she had cleaned out my account ! really nice ! So we both ended up getting frozen ! I was really sad cause it had my first painted pet that someone have gifted to me , a maraquan Pteri! I still wish to get a WVN maraquan pteri again

So i got iced today. This is what appears when try to log to my account:

"This account has been FROZEN for the following reason:

This account was being shared by two or more people."

WTF? I never shared the account with anyone. Why did I was banned?

Can someone explain me how to send a ticket please.

Edit: I did share this account with my girlfriend, but she does not have another account on neo and I always log to the account under same IP (my home)

It contains some info about what you need information you need to gather for your ticket, as well as a link to the submission form for the ticket. Hope you get it back, but Id prepare for a long wait of at least 2+ weeks.

 

Seems sort of ridiculous the amount of stuff you need to keep track of just to prove an account was yours...and if you lose some of that info compiled over years, you have that hanging over you whenever you play--if I ever get frozen, will I be able to get my account back?

I have been very lucky and have never been iced. I have had several friends iced though and some have not come back to the game since it upset them so much and they didn't want to start over.

 

I was iced for my protection when i didnt do anything. Submitted a ticket 5 months ago.
