dude, I saw that show on the discovery channel!!!!!!!! SUPER VOLCANOES!!!! seriously... it was scary to think about But when it blows it wont kill everyone. It will just bottleneck the population down to a few thousand I read an article that said even if all of the ice caps and glaciers and every bit of ice melts that there will still be some places above water
I don't think that we will cause our own demise, whether it be us drifting into the sun, or some aliens beam down and destroy and enslave us, but I don't think we will cause our own planets destruction. We won't destroy ourselves because despite how war-hungry some nations are, there is still some logic inside of them. Also, we have become so prepared to deal with our enviroment that even the biggest of storms couldn't wipe us out. There will be life on earth for a long while yet, whether it be human life, I can't say...
Explosions, UFO's, The Sun, all very plausable and scary. But... wouldn't it be amusing if the world ended when a duck woke up. The whole world and everyone and everything in it was just a dream in the mind of a duck!
lol Well logically in dreams. Things move alot faster than real life. I read that most of your dreams are only minutes long. Yet they might feel like and play out things that would take days!! lol but still. A duck.. lol
Well, if you consider " the world " the human beings, then I guess that it just won't end, for many reasons we might go trough better or worse times but I guess we'll always prevail. But if you consider the world, the planet earth, than I guess that its destruction will be (kinda already is) gonna be done by the human beings.

The world will end when the Sun burns out. The Sun is a giant star, stars burn out all the time so it's obivious the Sun will burn out.
well the earth will be destroyed by us when we'll be able to travel in space already (big dreams),when a World War XXXVI ends but still the human race will keep growing....... on other planets
Ok it just came in my mind...a child plays with his ball and he drops it in the street...he takes it and a car almost kills him...but the ball has inside secrets beyond Human Power and the kid wakes up 10.000 years in the future...he sees only darkness but he is thinking about his ball and his parents...then a light apears and a new Earth is born...and the kid wake up (for real) and finds that the car accident was just a dream
