and as for your question...I say yes :p
I say so because my parents are like that...my dad works in California so he's only home a few days a month...and it's been working out for years (and no, my parents are not divorced)

Well is this girl overseas or further than 2-3 hours away? I honestly dont see it working. I lived in another state and was still "with" this girl but we just ended up fighting. I guess we just got sick of being held back by each other when we knew we couldn't be together and i wasn't moving back.

Alright so you've been together, but you're still young.. the world is your oyster. People don't stay with their first loves forever anymore, that only happened with your grandparents and their generation.

Now its all about emulating paris Hilton or in your case Robbie Williams

    Simple. Yes they can.
It can be hard, but that's with the 'short distance relationships' too..

If you really care, you should be just fine :)

That's hot. Paris Hilton is my idol. I love her lack of self respect...it's the BEST.

But yeah, just find a new girlfriend that's closer. It's easier and less stressful.

Don't hate, SoC. He's too cool for school.

But anyway, back on topic. So are you going to move on, or try and date this girl...?

edit: and by "he," I meant hillhawks.

What can I say. When people think of lame they think of me.

One time I tried to have a long distance relationship. The girl was from jersey though, so it automatically failed.

I believe some of the time. If it's too far where you can only see the person on holidays then no. But if it's a couple hours and you can drive on weekends then yes.
