I remember back in like 8th grade, my teacher installed Oregon Trail on all of the computers. It's about a wagon trail that moves out west, and you get to pick food, your route, hunt, etc. It's probably sort of geeky, but I used to love it ;)

    Anyone else ever play it?

    Yes.

I loved it when I was younger, but could never get all the way to the end(I loved hunting on that game).

Now that I've actually studied the Oregon Trail in school, I can make better decisions? Though luck still has a part in that game.

Summed up - I like that game.

Amazon Trail OWNED the Oregon Trail. Who cares about history when you can sail the Amazon with a black guy and a doctor?

I love Oregon Trail. ^_^ I actually found a site a while back that has it to dl with an emulator. Can't remember the site right now but if I find it I'll post the link. But geez, I remember playing that in elementary school. o_O Yukon Trail was fun too...gold mining in Alaska.

    Love me. ^_^

That's the link to the original which is what I played. They have the deluxe version too though which may be what some of you guys played at school.

You have to create an account and then fill out stupid surveys before you can download any games but just use a fake e-mail and skim through the survey clicking randomly. They have some awesome games on there.

    OMG!!!

    I LOVED THAT GAME!!!!!!!!

The one we played on the comp at school when I was little was pretty lame...

But they came out with a newer version... like a few years ago

ALSO my mom bought me the amazon trail or something

You were in the amazon traveling up the river and you got to stop by villages and travel back in time and hunt for food and all kinds of COOL stuff. And it was very educational about the rain forest!

I think I still have it, I might try to install it on here! *runs off to do it*

I think I only ever completed it once. I loved the bit where you could hunt for food though. It owned.

I think you can download it from Home of the Underdogs. It's a nice, quick game to play when you're bored - very nostalgic, too.
