I love and hate scary films. I hate them because I scare so easily but love watching them with my fiance and a pizza.

What s the scariest film you have ever seen?

Some of the old classics are pretty scary, Nightmare on Elm Street is awesome, it's scary even though the effects aren't that great!

A more modern film I found quite scary was the boogeyman, the camera angles and suspense made it really scary!

But the scariest film ever has got to be IT, purely because I hate clowns, I was scared to use turn on the taps for ages after I saw it haha, apparently the ending is really rubbish but I never made it that far!

I also hate clowns, which leads me to hating IT as well. I've made it to the end.... wasn't too impressing.

I dunno if anyone has seen 'Intensity' but it scared me to death. I saw it on HBO once, so I don't know if it is in blockbuster and such, but its a really good movie.

I didn't like It as a movie so much but the book did make me scared of clowns. The Exorcist is one that has always scared me, more so when I was younger but it still gives me the creeps.

The ring is scared the daylights outta me. The japanese one, not the hollywood one. It doesn't really rely on cheap scares, but more on building up tension. Anyone can jump out of a closet screaming "BOO!".

Yeah Ringu was pretty scary, one of the better movies I've seen.

Saw III though was a trip, it wasn't really pop-out scary, but the whole storyline and the events of the movie made me trip out a little bit. Definitely the best of the three.

I think Ju-On. The show has weird ghosts popping out randomly while you watch and the plot uncovers, and the ghosts are always zoomed in or in some weird unnatural position... The music, yes the music. Scariest of all. Eurgh. :?

But thats the part that scares me the most, I am ok with plots because I can just think that never happened but when someone jumps out of something it gives me such a fright :x Especially when I know it's coming!

Personally, I don't get scared at horror films, I can watch them for hours and not get nightmares or afraid. Hmph, oh well. I love horrors though, they are just so suspensefull and on the edge of your seats! Anyone know if there are any good horrors coming out this year?

I think Japan produces the scariest movies of all time and Ring, Ju-on are one them. Personally, I hate those movies because they scared the crap out of me. Strangely, I want to watch them although I constantly closed my eyes throughout the whole movie.

Ooh, a scary movie with my name, that's going on my netflix list. :D

The Exorcism of Emily Rose scared the crap out of me too. I'm not a big fan of anything to do with demonic possession though.

If you like Japanese horror movies Odishon is a good one. It's a bit slow to build up but the end is wonderfully gory.

Mine was Nightmare on Elm street. I saw it for the first time when I was 11 and it scared me so much I've never watched it again.
