Sega Mega Drive. No doubt about it. Second place comes C64 (especially the Ghostbusters game ) and third SNES ^^
My favorite would be the Super Nintendo hands down, but the best would probably be the Playstation 2. I haven't played the Wii yet so I can't say it due to your question
SNES easily. Though some of the games on the Atari were pretty cool. More recently I have had alot of fun on the Wii but I still prefer the PS2 over anything.
Well if i have to have played it it has to be ps2, but i really think ps3 is probably the best one out there.
wii is darn cool.. we have wii here if you play baseball you will use your own action by holding the censor and if you strike the censor the computerized human also strike the ball in the computer.. so much for technology.
Xbox 360 comes close for me, however so does Wii they're actually very fun. Although I have to say you do look kinda spaz when you're playing it. Especially tennis x.x
im just wondering i in our mall theres a wii and the game is really cool .. same with the baseball it used censor but the game called boxing.. you just hold the censor and box all you want..and face the screen and attack your opponent .. i did not played it yet. i will play it maybe next week when we go there.
Before I answer the question debated, nice thread by the way. Now this is a tough decision, I'm torn between: Super Nintendo or Playstation 2. SNES being it has SO many classic games that I've enjoyed. Such as Killer Instinct, Primal Rage, who can forget Super Mario Bros., Mortal Kombat 2, and 3. Playstation 2, let's face it that was a revolutionary console. Extremely fresh, brand new games/genres. It set the standards for many of the consoles today. Some mentionable stand-outs: God of War, Burnout (All of the series), and Grand Theft Auto (Series).
your correct wii is very fun! geezzz im so excited to play the boxing /wii... im going to play it. for an hour when we go to mall.
I tried getting into the whole "Nintendo WII" thing, but its not cutting it for me. Games are mediocre, as well as the gameplay. I guess the only exciting part of this console is the new controller system, sort of throws everyone off a little bit.
I'm thinking about getting a Wii now that I've seen some of the clips from the Resident Evil games that are coming (not sure if or when they're released). If anyone want to check them out, you can find them here: http://spel.feber.se/feber/art/16832/et ... sident_ev/ Just ignore the first clip, it totally blows. Anywho, it's Resident Evil 4 and Umbrella Chronicles. The last one reminds me a bit of that old arcade game, The House of the Dead. Gotta love that old classic
N64! I still have mine and we keep it in the Kitchen in my halls at uni. We are blatenly going to fail our degrees through obsessive MarioKart playing... I'm always toad. Letsa go!
N64 ruled, but purely only for the MarioKart, and I am afraid to say that I prefer the 'DoubleDash' MarioKart on the Gamecube now.
I was always princess peach! Itsa me mario....classic! They even had a TV show didn't they? I had it on video
Out of all these posts, no one has mentioned 'Nintendo Gamecube'? I'm not a fan of it either but I enjoyed for the simple reason Resident Evil 4. That video games was pure genius and the graphics were amazing. It failed when they converted it onto the Playstation 2 console.
I mentioned it two posts above! The main problem with the gamecube, other than it's untimely release, was that there wasnt enough games to choose from. The only game I enjoyed on it was MarioKart Double Dash
Yeah, the Gamecube failed due to lack of video games/genres. I also think the Gamecube didn't have Online Play as well?
The thing about the gamecube was it seemed like it wasn't out for very long before they ditched it! There weren't many good games to choose from!
At least the Nintendo Gamecube lasted longer than the 'Sega Saturn'. Now that console was a huge disappointment and didn't last a month I believe. Best game for it was Virtua Fighter, but it was better to play that in the arcades than console.
