I was also nearly drowned when I was six. It's an experience I will never forget. Until now, I kinda have phobia whenever I see swimming pool.
I'd much rather drown, it's meant to be an amazing feeling to die that way. Buring would be awful. I'd like my body to look good when I die hehe, not like I've been cooked on a BBQ. If you think when you burn you're actually cooking.... euw.
I'm going to have to say being burnt to death would be the more painful of the two. You think about how much pain your in when you touch a hot pot or something now imagine that pot a lot hotter and touching it for 5 minutes. That's going to be one painful death.
When I was around five, I fell into the deep end of a pool. I nearly died, but my sister was quite the little dolphin, and at seven years old, she saved me from dying. I didn't really feel anything. It was just... almost... peaceful, once you get past the feeling that your lungs are going to burst. HOWEVER, there was this one woman whose boyfriend set her on fire. She lived, and 72% of her body is permanently burned (or something near that) and her medical bills top $1 mill.
Both I wouldn't like to experience, but the fire... NO! That hurts really bad... one time I spilled boiling water on my hand... hurt for 2 weeks -.-
I remember hearing something about being burned to death was one of the most painful ways to die. That's why I wouldn't mind leaving that way. I mean, if you're going to die, wouldn't you want to feel as alive as possible just before you leave? Experiencing huge deals of pain would be much better than leaving while you're asleep. At least in my point of view
Clearly the answer is burned alive. Pain being the strong sense rushed to your brain would come from fire rather then from water in the sense of drowning. Maybe if you had to sit and take a fire hose until death then yes, it'd be that. Fire > Water.
Isn't drowning meant to be like falling asleep? Then again, I've never had someone come back and tell me they liked it... =/
Ew, I can't believe I'm answering but Burnt Alive. I burnt my hand straining pasta once. Man it was in a bandage for like two weeks.
Burnt alive MUST be more painful. Personally I would rather drown than burn. I am really afraid of water I don't know. But yeah, rather drown than burn.
