If you've know the person for a long time, and you trust them it might work. But internet relationships (which I think is the dumbest thing on the planet) never work, ever. There's a guy I know who was dating a girl over the internet on and off for 3 years. What a waste of time on someone you've never hugged, kissed, or even given a high five.
lol i usually apply with long multiparagraph replys...but in this case, ill just keep it simple. no it will not work "." <-----period
contrary to belief, yes, they do work. it just takes a lot of patience and a lot of love and communication! i know because i lived apart from my boyfriend for nearly 3 years ( 7 hour drive separating ), and we now live together. eat that, non-believers. =)
Yes they CAN work however I couldn't do it. Simply because I think a relationship is kinda pointless if you can't be close enough to appreciate each other. I might do it for like, maybe a month but that would be the limit.
It really totally depends on how often you see each other. I'd say if you can see each other for a week or two every 3 months, it would work. But only for a time, something would have to give.
It's only worth doing if its what you both want. When I first went to uni I tried to keep my relationship going with my boyfriend, but he couldnt be bothered with the two hour train journey and I ended up doing all the running about for him to dump me on my birthday during the first Christmas holidays. If you're going to enter into a long distance relationship you have to both be prepared to compromise with who visits whom and really really be sure its what you both want. I got really hurt, can you tell lol?. But its ok because I have a lovely new boy now
^^ I think it works obviously if you live relitivly close and meeting up whenever possible would help but phones and web cams can keep a relationship going. Ever seen Road Trip?
Depends on the couple, I feel that if it doesn't work out, it was never meant to be in the first place.
Yes. My exgirlfriend lived in the Netherlands and I live in Sweden. I mean, she lived in another country! And it worked for 3 years. And it ended because we are too different when it comes to future plans and whatnot, not because of the distance.
That sucks. The same thing kind of happened to me, but we were even closer than two hours. Boys just suck, lol.
i say no =\ nomatter how much i love them they'd have to be by my side for me to actully l-o-v-e them xDD
