Guys I really Believe in Giants that exist long time ago. Because my uncle and relatives told me about it. My Uncle Is a business man and he go to one of the islands here in philippines name "isla de gante" or means as "isle of giants" as he go there many foreigners and people in the island and there was a museum there or like exibit thing.. in the exibit there were lots of giants remains "free to see but not to touch" there are feets of giants , bones, ribs.. etc.. My uncle was really excited to see them.. and the story said long time ago they live in the island ,..there remains were found is the island by a certain peoples who lives in the island... i have here the map of our country. slice by 3 huge land name "Luzon as L, V as Visayas , M as Mindanao. The isla de gante is located in Visayas i dunno where is the island of giants there.. i cant ask my uncle becuz he is in other country working. How About you guys.. believe in Giants?
I can't say I do since I haven't seen any proof for it. I find it higly unlikely, but I'm not saying that it's impossible since nothing can be known for sure =) Darn, I voted wrong
I don't really think there were giant humans in the past. I'm sure if it was scientifically verified to be true, it'll be all over the news by now..
I don't know if i believe in giants. But i hope that giants aren't still alive walking around the world ]=.
Actually, humans were shorter in the olden days. I forgot why, lack of nutrition mabey? Anyhow, I don't really believe in the giants theory, but then again I'd never heard of it until this thread, so perhaps if I did some research and found data that scientists had analyzed then my mind would change.
Thats right. Humans, on average are now taller than they were a century ago because of better nutrition and such. If there were giants imagine what they would eat.. Buckets of humans perhaps.
That's a good point. In order to believe in giants, we would need alot more proof, such as how would have survived. In order for them to survive they would need food, water, etc, and nothing I've heard so far suggests those things in such big quantities have ever existed.
Ain't saying it can't be true, but the human being is constantly evolving, not devolving so if there were giants we could only get even bigger now
i'd say 'giant' is too strong of a term =/ i think humans were taller before, but not exactly 'giant' (yes i know its been proven humans were shorter a century or two ago, i'm talking about wayy before that )
I don't know if I believe in them. But I would want to. I mean, mysterious creatures living in the mountains. Totally awesome, they same with fairies, gnomes, elves, trolls and so on.
I think there could still be giants out there... you never know. just like the Loch Ness monster, maybe they're just hiding, because they're smart enough to stay away from humans... I wouldn't really trust what scientists say, because, hell, they proved that the bumblebee can't fly, but it buzzes along happily, don't it? XD viva la strange creatures
I believe in giants. There is a disease called Gigantism where the secretion of hormones of some people is abnormal, causing them to grow rapidly can continuously.
Are you saying those people are giants then? Because they arent, they just have a disease, as you said... It guess depends though upon what size person you call a giant :?
