I'm working on my English essay, can someone give me some tips because I can't find any points to write. I don't even know whether I should agree or disagree with the statement.
I've done an essay on that topic before. Here are some ideas you could use: * They are a distraction if they go off in class * They can get stolen easily * They are useful for emergency contact That's all I can really think of. They are probably obvious reasons but I hope this helps anyway.
Psh. I'm not going anywhere without my cellphone. So what if I text someone in class? It makes no noise, and it keeps me shutup. I've probably sent/received at least 5000 text messages in a classroom and i've never been caught.
Well, I'm saying I don't see why they should be banned. I'm not going anywhere without it. I believe you shouldn't be allowed to use it, so if people do get caught they'll get in trouble so it minimizes usage, but honestly...it's nothing bad.
they should. Your in school to learn not to text/phone people. Rule in our school is their allowed on silent and not to be used but their for emergencies. although noone actually listens to that
so true ive set maybe over 250 texts in class, i was almost caught couple times lol and i use my camera phone outside alot too
They should not be banned, what if you get into trouble and need to call for help? Especially useful if like me you drive to school and you break down or something. :?
not be banned its important.. specially at school.. and should follow the rules not to use while in class. dont abuse.
No it should not be banned, even though it does destract the student, if the student was realy intrested in the class he wouldnt be playing on his cell phone and sending messages, maybe the teacher could make the clas more fun....or on the other hand, the student should respect the teachers class and turn off the cellphone and only use it for emergencies... *the teachers should get the cellphones when the students walk in the clas, and give em back as theyre walking out
Add in something about the mosquito ring tone, (http://www.jetcityorange.com/MosquitoRingtone.html). It seems that us kids are getting more clever when it comes to hiding cellphones from teachers, and using them in class. Good luck on your essay, make sure you are only supporting one side, not both sides of the argument.
Well, I think I will support the arguement eventhough I bring my handphones to school everyday which I never use it unless it's emergency.
