is it tru if u leave ur 360 on for more then 12 hours ittll break my friend said it happened to him but i think his little sis broke it???
yeah it is good to give it a rest but sometimes we go for like hours and hours of jus polayib specailly if its a good game
i bought a koolerking for mine, after getting it replaced 3times, now i play for 4hours max, then turn off for about 30mins to cool down, even with the koolerking
probably for ps3 but not for wii since wii is just a gamecube on steroids while a ps3 is a powerhouse like the 360
yeha i thought s i kne the ps3 pretty sure would need to cool down.. wii i thought it would 2 but guess not its also not as hightech as the others though so i guess thats y
I recently bought my 360 and it's been played on for about 16 hours straight with no problems. The only thing I would suggest would be to make sure the 360 has PLENTY of space around it AND BEHIND IT, to get rid of hot air. The fans within the 360 work fine as long as there's good airflow around the 360. Also, I'd suggest getting the 2 year extended warrant for 60 bucks. Well worth it, in my opinion, and it adds 2 years to the 1 year warranty so 3 years of protections sounds good to me. Also, be careful with the King Cooler and the Nyko Intercooler because many people claim that it destroys their 360. Opinions split about 50/50 on whether it helps or hurts it.
I think the light goes red once it gets too hot and that should probably mean turn it off, its never happened to me before/
No this doesnt usually happen. I normally keep mine on at all times and mine hasnt broken yet. His sis might have broke it. Sorry about the grave dig I just thought my situation should be know.
If you check the net krazyhick, there are a lot of incidents about 360's overheating, so you just might be lucky. Besides... think of the wasted power... and conserve LOL!
I should probably consider that. I leave it on aswell as my computer on all the time. I rarely turn them off.
ugh man u pplz and ur game systems.... luckily i dont have one so i dont have to worry bout any problemos
I had one of the second shipment (Janurary) and it hasnt broken or overheated yet. The worst that happened was the occasional freezing on NBA 2k6.
It is a bad idea. I would be afraid of it melting noname93 - please don't gravedig - if the last post in a topic is over 3 days old - leave it alone - Marlene
