What is this. 3 days and she's out? I hate people with money who buy themselves out of everything -.-
I think it's ridiculous. Regardless of her social/financial status, she should have had to stay in jail for the full amount of time she was sentenced. I would feel exactly the same way about anyone else who has repeatedly disobeyed the law as she has. She didn't go to jail for the DUI. She went to jail because she violated her probation. How many chances should she get? Shall we wait until she kills a family of 5 in a car crash because she once again decided to get trashed and get behind the wheel of a car? As far as the embarrassment thing goes, that comes with the package. She should know by now that whatever she does is going to be all over the media. You'd think that would give her the incentive to make wiser decisions.
Sorry to all of the Paris fans out there ...but I just HATE Paris Hilton. The only thing she's got is money. She would be NOTHING if she wasn't rich. She's got no style, no brains, no vocal talent, no grace, or anything. She also has this weird eye so she always takes photos in only one angle to hide her weird eye and she has really obnoxious HUGE feet. And... now she's trying to abuse the law and get special treatment. :evil:

I know, what kind of punishment is that supposed to be, right? This just shows how screwed up our world is becoming: rich little blonde heiresses don't have to go to jail .. or be responsible for their actions. So they decided not to do the house arrest thing? I wonder what made them change their minds? Maybe it was the whole mockery of the law thing... She should just suck it up and do the damn time. She doesn't realize what a blessing it is that she doesn't have to be in general population. I served 75 days in a county jail where I shared a room with about 35 other girls. She should just be glad she gets her own cell.

I am pissed She is a regular person with no medical condition. If you can't do the time then don't do the crime
^^ Though she should do the time you have to admit there is a reason for the prison to take precautions. I think she deserves to go to jail but the 23 hours locked in her cell is the right thing to do. The reason she got out was because of the sheriff and the judge wasn't having it.
