I personally think Myspace is laaaame. But I do have a facebook, and I love that I can talk to all my friends everyday. (I moved earlier this year so it's good to hear from them.)
Why does everyone have so much problems w/ just talking to people? o.0 Just say something like 'Hey, it's (your name). Just wanted to see how your doing" or "Just wanted to see what's up" or whatever. It's really not that hard. The main point I'm trying to tell you all is that when you leave a message on the telephone, it shows that you care. That you're brave enough to talk to them, and not just post comments which you've had all day to think about. When you talk on the phone w/ somebody, they don't have time to think up the 'perfect answer.' Talking on the phone (OR IN PERSON, which is even better) is when you actually find out who they truly are.
i think friendster is good and cool... myspace is kinda confuses me.... for me philippines is the no. 1 user of friendster!!
Really... that's your opinion. Not ours. I mean in my opnion the phone is just as personal as the internet... The only real thing is in person. Anything else is second best. I dont think a phone is any more personal than a message or e-mail At least if you leave a message on the internet you can take your time and include everything you want. In phone messages you get cut off early and you get put on the spot.
I used to like friendster a lot too. MySpace wasn't big for me. I had too many random strangers trying to add me as a friend. Also too many fake profiles out there. But I have all three anyways. MySpace is where I put my skank photos and add random people, Friendster and FaceBook are more serious and only my real friends or people I've been talking to over the net for a long time.
Funny you should mention about the fake profiles Me and a friend made this fake profile to test her boyfriend who turned out to be cheating on her. It was fun messing with him. and he took the bait too. So yea, there are alot of fake profiles on myspace. But if you're only there for friends, you dont really need to worry about it
I think thats partly the web developer's blame. They usually get too greedy and fill the site with ads which make the page load slowly and then neglect upgrading their servers which makes the site glitchy, etc. Then people get so annoyed to move on to the next profile networking site. It's not that people lose interest in the idea of it just get annoyed with the greed and non-functioning website.
myspace, since most of the people i know are on there. its like the same thing with aim/msn... i love msn way more, but i use aim the most because everyone i talk to has a screen name for that and not msn.
Myspace I prefer, I think facebook is more for the older people and it's more of a dating site whereas Myspace has the whole music aspect and it's more for networking.
hey Facebook all the way! The fact that you can make clubs and all that, its so much more personaly than Myspace. And its not as messy, you can easily make yourself around w/o bunch of junk images and all
Facebook is SO much better than all of those, keeps everything organised ! But calling your friends is a million of times better, and you know it
I like facebook better because of the photo album tag option. So if I want to look at a bunch of photos of my friend I can see every single on that anyone on the site took of them. Which is helpful to me (not because I'm a stalker!!!) because I like making digital art and photo collages for my friends to put on my website... But then one thing about facebook irks me is that you have to actually add someone as a friend to see their profile and sometime I just want to see if it is someone I know or not without adding them. So I guess myspace is better for secret stalkers and pedophiles but facebook is better if you just wanna chat with your friends. Also I get soo much fricken spam on myspace I'm sick of seeing the comment: "Hey guys all girls are really lying when they say size doesn't matter blahblahblahblah" It's gross and offensive. So def facebook all the way.
Facebook ftw. It's harder to use than myspazle, but once you get used to it, it's got so many more features!
