The music the actors I didn't remember that the last one made me so creeped out until I started looking at everyone outside the cinema it is such a freaky film. I love British Horrors <3
I kinda wanted to see it.. but I would have to re watch the 28 days later thats wierd... Wasnt 28 days later in like 2002 It has been a LONG time.. and then they are now releasing a sequal... Well At least I have one person who says its good. I was wondering
i didn't really enjoy it. The way they filmed the ending made it pretty clear that there's room for another sequel.
^^ Well they will make it a trilogy I'm sure. It was such a long break because the director of 28 days has been so busy and he gave 28 weeks to a Spanish (or something) director to make. The opening sequence is one of the best I have ever seen it makes your spine tingle ^.^ The basic outline of the story is part of the financial district of London has been sectioned off and sanitized of the rage virus. Though obviously things go wrong xD 28 weeks is way different from all other zombie films for one the "zombies" aren't dead they are just infected living. The film is very believable which sounds odd but with bird flu and other un-curable viruses floating around it really makes you think. It's weird in the sence that usually in horror films you like watching people die but in the short space of time you actually care that the people are dying. The shots of empty London are really freaky and there are some amazing special effects though the film hasn't gone all Hollywood like I feared. Seriously go see it I know people who have seen it like 6 times now ^.^
I might go see it this week.. but I doubt I'll be able to. School term has already started here *cries a little*
Ohh I wanna see this movie too. I remember seeing the first one and thought it was the best zombie movie I'd ever seen. Did anyone catch that Southpark parody? Night of the Living Homeless? Anyways to anyone who's seen this movie, is it better than the first one?
I saw it last week with my fiance, he loves zombie films. I thought it was good, much better than the first. It was jumpy with great effects but pretty sad aswell. It had a really good ending which will lead nicely into a final installment. Was the main man, the dad, the guy from The Full Monty?
the main guy was robert carlyle who appeared in the full monty, trainspotting, james bond-the world is not enough i actually really loved it, the film freaked the hell out of me, especially the red eyes and the fact that they RUN :S i hate running zombies, but i loved this film...very very good twist in the story but i guessed it about the wee boy from the start!
i leave all my horror type stuff to books, i can't watch horror movies at all or else i like have a heart attack, i don't need somebody to give me the picture my brain gives me a picture that won't give me a hear attack but it will still keep me occupied
I saw it a few weeks ago and I liked it I guess. I haven't seen 28 days later though. I thought that the ending was REALLY predictable, and it felt too much like an in between movie rather that a move that was a sequel and probably a prequel.
