limewire for single files or a torrent downloader such as bit torrent for bigger things such as an entrie music album or software
Ya, i use emule to download single songs and bt (Azureus) to download whole albums =D bt is much faster though! Hmm i shall try limewire 8)
its because limewire has such a huge user sharing database so many people use it , so many files to download and a huge range just about anything you could think of to ask for!
i have a good computer built it myself with parts and free software but ive heard about this bearshare....is it good? lots of files? what sort of similarities and differences does it have to limewire?
...Most torrent programs connect you to the same network so if youre going to go with that its really just a matter of bells and whistles. I find azureus to be the easiest to use but I dont really use torrents anyway. As for limewire, frostwire, bearshare and other services of the like I would beg anyone who cares about their computer to not download anything unless it is absolutely necessary via their services. It is quite easy for a malicious user to put a covert little trojan on your music file without the file itself being harmed (so your music plays fine and you dont suspect a thing) which will then comence downloading of spy and adware onto your computer in order for the person who poisoned the file to make money via the spyware scene. My advice to anyone would be to join a trusted warez community and download CDs TRUSTED members and groups upload. You might sacrifice a little speed but your computer will thank you. I would link people to a few good communities but that would be against the rules :?
