    Here is the big one

    Left, Right, Centrist?

    Centralized government?/Loose Organization?

    Your political compass
    Economic Left/Right: 1.63
    Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 2.67

This is where i stand on a scale of one to ten in both catagories.

Debate the pros and cons of each parties policies (including the center) and share your own beliefs.

PLEASE DO NOT TURN THIS INTO A POLITICAL-FLAME SESSION....

Its ok to disagree and if you dont really understand politics its probobly smarter to not spout off but please keep it pg if you can.

PS- http://www.politicalcompass.org is a great way to see where you stand if you are not really sure...Post your results if you feel comfortable doing so! 8)

I consider myself a leftist. Liberals are more accepting and consider what's in the best interest of the people instead of the individual, which I think is very important.

I won't comment on the obvious cons of being conservative because I seldom have anything nice to say.

Pretty close to the center I guess. Which I would consider myself. Cool site, I always wanted to know what I was considered.

I really don't know where I stand. I guess that I'll be a poor uni student soon so I'd have to say left wing, but I agree with some of the right wing ideals (not extreme right though)

I'm not sure what that exactly means (someone explain?), but I consider myself mostly moderate, a little socially liberal, but mostly moderate.

    Sure.

Libertarian/Authoritarian is your position on the governments involvment in YOUR life (basically). This doesnt really correspond to specifically to being liberal or conservative.

Economic Left/Right really just shows where your beliefs stand on on things like Taxes, Distribution of wealth, moderation of the economy etc etc...

I think theres a faq page on their site somewhere that could explain it to you better than me

I'm nearest to Ghandi, furthest away from Hitler on the graph thing. The second part of that is comforting to know.. It was interesting to see that Tony Blair and George Bush were in the same quarter as Hitler.

That site really is interesting. There were questions on there that I really couldn't answer immediately. Like the 'eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth' and the one about the death penalty. I just can't ever make up my mind properly on that subject. My boyfriend and I went to see The Laramie Project at the theatre last night so we were discussing it then.

Intreaguing. I always thought I was more right wing.

EDIT: What also interests me, is the fact TB is so close to MT on the scale. When their regimes were totally different.
