    :'( i dont feel like reading these stupid books, is some website that would give me all the info i needed?

    i hate it to but when u get back to school :nope: u have to write reports...

    sparknotes pinkmonkey and cliffnotes helped me a ton over the year.. check those sites and see if they have your book

    this summer i have to read poisonwood bible and guns germs and steel. and cliffnotes sparknotes and pinkmokey are definitely the best sites to check out. although it is still quite a bit of reading it is all um what can i say....... condensed lol.

    Depending on your teacher that is. My teacher knew about sparknotes so she put stuff on quizzes that were specifically not in sparknotes, forcing me to read the book.

    that kinda sux..... doesnt it??....... but then there are other sites that could help you with the quizzes though.....

    well if your teacher is smart, she's gonna ask more indepth questions than the basic concepts provided by the summaries lol

    they're called summaries, for a reason :p

    Well, learning to take notes and read is probably the best way to go. Sparknotes was pretty good as an extension, but in the long run it's best to read it, no matter how boring it is!

    Absolutely agreed on Sparknotes-- Now, I've never seen those other sites, but I've never gotten anything lower than a 98 in an English class, and I ALWAYS used Sparknotes for summer reading! (Yes, I did legitly do all my work during the school year!!), but I always thought it was such a joke to have an "assignment" for summer. Those were my 3 months off!!
