Yeah, for anyone who lives in Canada this has been on the news for a while.
I've heard this bridge was constructed in the 1960's.
Then during the rush hour the bridge collapsed. I'm not sure but I think they said it happened because they were fixing it or something :S

yeah :S i wonder why they didnt. i heard it was a major bridge too so it would cause a disaster if they closed the whole bridge down.

people couldnt go to work etc.

I think the death toll has increased and decreased. First it was just one, and then it was 7 and then back down to four.. I know there are a lot of people missing..

I don't recall when but I think I heard that they said a pin was loose or something?

All i know is that there's going to be a shitload of lawsuits after this if it was 100% preventable..

My friend uses that bridge to drive to the cities. I'm just lucky she wasn't on it then!

I heard this from a friend and I was relieved in knowing that she wasn't using the bridge at the time to come home. She lives there. Anyway, she normally would've been on it but thankfully, she got asked to work over time. :| I agree, I do think that there will be a lot of lawsuits after this happened.
