Did you read the article? Half of its bowel is missing. It wouldn't be able to live a normally sheepy life. I agree, because of the bowel thing, that the best thing is to put it to sleep. It is better than letting it suffer.

In Thailand things like this happen all the time. I see news about turtles with 2 tails, weird plants, and other freaky stuff from time to time. The 'uneducated' or 'superstitious' crowd seem to think they're 'special/supernatural' and try to find numbers or patterns on these things so they can go buy lottery tickets... It's embarrassing.

hmmm, I wonder if you know what the proper meaning of gross actually is? The poor thing didn't ask to be born like that. It's just a genetic fault that could probably happen to any organism.
It's a very rare genetic fault, but it's just an animal to tell the truth... imho it's sort of cute but I agree with the fact that it must be put down.
Did the Sheep "say" it was suffering. I know bowl missing but it doesn't look like in pain. Animals have higher endurance than humans.
How does an animal look when it is in pain? So, we should just let animals suffer when they have serious medical conditions that cannot be cured? Just because an animals looks perfectly fine, doesn't mean that there isn't something wrong with it or that it is not in pain. Because these animals are unable to speak for themselves, we have to be sensible about certain situations and talk for them.
Just a little note : They're has been several requests to lock this thread before the discussion gets out of hand. My own eyes its a fair discussion and people are welcome to post whatever points of view they wish. Just take a minute to think before you post anything stupid? And if the discussion becomes flamefest/angry ill lock On topic: My own view is it's the animals life. Not ours. And it isn;t up to us in anyway to interfere.
