What do you think of the cartoon strip? I love the fact that Hobbes is but a stuffed toy who's so important in a little boy's world..it gives the series a sad,nostalgic feel and at the same time,leaves a lot of scope for goofy comments like "Hobbes is always a little tipsy after coming out of the dryer".
i've been reading it since i was a kid,too;and though i no longer buy the books,i always go through the ones in the newspaper. I thought i'd grow out of it..but no luck so far.
Stuffed toy? What are you talking about? He's a real tiger! Just really really good at impersonating a stuffed one. Duh.
