Hello, I was wondering if any of you know any cool mmorpg games. I used to play silkroad (http://www.silkroadonline.net) and i used to bot xD Anyways, anyone know a game similar to silkroad? i've been looking for a mmorpg game for days now :S
I play FLYFF on the Aibatt server. I really like it even though it might seem hard to level up at first. But if you let me know, I can buff you =)
Although the game is still a work in progress I've really enjoyed the community around planeshift. Plus the game is free and open source.
I'd suggest Guild Wars. You have to buy the game, but the play is free, unlike WoW. Here's the website http://www.guildwars.com/
Guild Wars is fantastic. However, it is very easy to level up (I went from level 7 to 14 in less than 3 days, and the maximum level you can reach is 20) and I lost interest quickly, mainly because I didn't have any real life friends playing the game, which always helps when getting into a new game and staying involved in it.
Ways around pay to play games include private servers. They aren't illegal I think, but some of them are absurd. Some people would like stuff like x50 experience or x20 item drops, but it ruins the game. There are private servers with milder modifications. Private servers are still as fun, but the community is of course, smaller, and private servers aren't really maintained well all the time. Some are, though. I used to play Conquer Online, was fun for a while, until I got sick of MMORPGs. So I can't really introduce anything to you, but if you don't mind static MMOGs I recommend Pardus. http://pardus.at/

LMAO, Goonzu has it's problems. It's a Korean game, that is badly translated into English. Plus the mods and admins speak broken English. Try again, but I have not played for a long time.
Diablo2! You'll get bored of it, then you'll turn to botting. All I do now is bot while I'm at work... actually, I do that for all my games. That's besides the point, pick up D2!
D2 is very outdated though. Is a new version of it going to come out? Because D2 LoD came out in like 2001.
you can play perfect world online. If u want an anime type mmorpg I suggest Ragnarok Online or tales of pirate online.
