Favourite RTS games?

What is everyones favorite RTS games? Im looking for a new one to get into, and i was curious what everyone out there liked.

 

Well my favorite RTS would have to be StarCraft, but if your looking for a new one too I don't think i can help since the last good one i've played was WC3 and still then i liked Starcraft more. I'm sure Blizzard will out due all once SC2 comes out thats what im waiting for.

aye...i AM looking forward to that one. SC2 is something on my list of things to do.

 

Yea, SC2 is suppose to be huge, but since it's a Blizzard Entertainment game, that means ""The game will release "when it's done" for PC and Mac only."" And if you know Blizzard well thats never soon. So get ready for the long haul and a long wait.

command and conquer 3 is definitely my favorite... i never really got into blizzard's rts games but starcraft 2 sounds like it's gonna be amazing.

 

CnC series all the way.
I am waiting for SC 2 and it really looks good.
And about time they replace SC, it's so old.

Definately Command and Conquer. Unlike a lot of other games in the genre, you don't have to worry too much about your resources (except defending harvesters and sources). It's all about the 'splosions!

 

ahh yes. CnC. I have tiberian wars 3 actually. Sadly haven't played it much due to my disc being left in the states during the deployment. My favorite CnC would be Red Alert 2...its just fun and addicting. And i was pretty good at it. CnC3 is a beautiful game though...i just haven't had much time to get deep into it.....yet.

 

I never played Red Alert 2 but I loved the first one.
The graphics are nothing compared to what they are putting up now but I loved the game play.
Anyone play the original CnC that started it all?

 

dude...play the original? HECK YES!!! i spent many an hours with my friends just getting our asses kicked as we pretended we knew what we were doing. Then RA and Tiberian sun came out and what do you know...we figured out what we were doing. I still love em too...sometimes i find that great graphics take away from great gameplay...
