Any boarders out there? I'm in New Zealand, we're just coming into the spring season here now, but it's been a pretty crap snow season this year. I'm heading down to the mountain for the first week of october, but after that it'll be just the indoor slope for me!
Wish i could say the same. It's a 5 hour drive to the mountain and the ski fields, and it's been one of many shit seasons this last few years. The base has hit 2 metres but on a jagged volcanic mountain like Mt. Ruapehu that's not much.
I love it, but I only have the opportunity when we are on holiday in Switzerland I wish we had enough snow and mountains around here.
2-4 hours drive to the mountains for me. But I can't snowboard anymore, since I broke my arm last year doing it. That made me lose like 4 months of tennis training. Now I'm stuck with skiing, the lamest but safest sport ever.
I'd dispute that Yeah i've got pretty bad RSI at the moment from barista and cafe work, not sure how it's going to affect me on the mountain yet
