I watch it sometimes, but I find it a bit annoying sometimes. It's fun to see the completed cars though.
I like watching it, I'm not addicted though. I rather Overhaulin' over Pimp My Ride 'cause they make the car owner think the car got robbed or had some problem and then show them a whole new pimped car.
I watch it when nothing else is on. What they manage to do is cool, but overall I think if I were driving that car, it'd get robbed. lol
We here in Portugal are not even allowed to modify one single part of the default setting of the cars we import, so one of those cars here would probably get you into jail xD
Really? It's a very narrow law... :/ Well, sometimes I watched the show... but I didn't found it so interesting. It sounds to me like a pre-organized program, anyway it's funny to see the car's makeovering.
Yea, they say that's it's dangerous to do it and since Portugal is one of the countries with the highest mortality rate on-road of Europe, they thought it would better that way. I think it's kinda exagerated too. The only thing you can change is the color.
I only like watching the first 5 minutes, where the show the car at the beginning, and the last 5 minutes when the show the car at the end. All the other stuff is pointless.
They did an "after the show" episode and this dude crashed his car within a week of getting it done and totalled it. Why they did it? I don't even know. His crash record was pretty high. Some people took the wheels off their cars during the week and put them back on during the weekend to avoid them from getting stolen lol
