So, I just bought Valve's Orange Box deal yesterday for the 360, and after beating Half-Life 2: Episode 2, I decided to sit down and play Portal. Even though I wasn't particularly amped about the game, I'd heard a few good things about it from the guys at the game store, so I figured it couldn't be horrible. I have three words for you: frickin' sweet game. Absolutely loved it, and the ending credits song put the biggest grin on my face. Just wanted to see if anyone else has played it yet (360 or PC) and if so, what do/did you think about it?
I can't wait to get my orange box, been waiting for portals for a little less than a year. TF2 looks sick too!
Heh - the game is definitely worth the wait. I didn't know anything about it until I had gone to the game store, and only knew that it was an FPS/puzzle-styled game. Interesting mix, but I was not disappointed in the least. Portal is an amazing game for sure. Had it not come in a package, I would readily buy it on its own. Hope there's a sequel! I'd recommend getting the Orange Box. Unfortunately, I can't tell you much about TF2. The game itself looks really great, but I lagged a great deal when I played because my network has been acting a little iffy lately. :/
portal looks good, but i played tfc and tf2 doesn't look like it requires as much skill imo, no bunnyhop, only walking in straight lines...
Add Fatholm, for tf2! btw portal is crazyness. I beat it and can't wait till people finish there own maps.
