Don't you guys agree that the UEFA European Football Championship is a real disaster so far ?

England is out, Italy has to win to even be still in, and France is out.

And if you see the Dutch team playing... They're rubbish too. The way this is going, Portugal will win, if they aren't out themselves already.

Anyway, what do you think ? Will it still be a nice championship to watch, or not ? I personally think that Holland is coming very far, with boring games, so I don't really support them anymore. I think that the other matches will be nice to watch though :)

I don't pay much attention to soccer other than the World Cup (even though I love playing it) but I can hardly believe that it will be a spectacular championship game with England, France, and possibly Italy out. The only teams left from Europe that I think are pretty good are Portugal and Spain.

And since I wasn't watching it at all, can anyone tell me who England and France lost to?

soccer is good no matter which team plays. The best team's will get through. Looking at the way england plays, the do not deserve to qualify, while the russians and the croatians do deserve it. After all they have play better to win their matches. In soccer it is not about the big teams. it is about the team that works together and plays well as a team. Big names would not help, and it is not entertaining to watch big names play like crap. However if relatively unknown players play well, it is entertaining.!! :yup: :yup:

Holland plays rubbish, as said, but they'll probably qualify.

Russia is lucky. Guus Hiddink is their coach. If you're a soccer fan, you must know that no matter which team he coaches, they come far :yup:

Anyway, I like big names playing. Especially Kaka ;)

Gus is a good coach and Russia deserve to qualify. As i have said, it does not matter what you do (as long as you dont cheat) if u play well you deserve the place.

As to big players, i think that they are good to watch but again if they do not play well then..... eg david beckham, he does not deserve to play at national level.

    anyway kaka is good.

    Is england out already?

i thought that Russia still had to beat the opposition in order for england not to qualify?
not sure about this, don't really like country football.

Mathematically england is not out yet but they are practically out

Because they have to depend on their group leaders to lose to the lousy teams such as Andorra, who have nothing to play for, just to qualify.
