Let's say two people are running for.. idk president. One is Christian, the other is Atheist. The Christian offers his good morals, but the Atheist offers things that would benefit you now and in the future(more money for schools, hospitals etc.). Who would you vote for? Would you be prejudice and vote for the Christian or would you take the time to weight the pros and cons?
I'd go for the Atheist. I'm not religious anyway, so that makes it easier. And if he/she does things that benefit me, then of coures I'd go for the Atheist
oh come on..... wats to say the Christian wont offer things that would benefit us now and in the future(more money for schools, hospitals etc.)..... The question should be, if both candidates offered the same things but one was Christian and the other was Athiest THEN who would you vote for.....
No idea, as we aren't given their ploitical background, solutions to specific problems etc. It's just to vague.
The situation is that. And we have to choose from that, not add more stuff or ask why there are only those choices. I would choose the atheist. Because at least it is a promise of doing something. And it still helps people out (schools, healthcare)
yeh well thats clearly biased towards athiests.... its making athiests look better than christians... its just like saying the only thing christians offer is good morals and nothin else... ofcourse everyone would choose athiest in that position... (makin athiests look superior).. lame question...

lol... but wat makes u think christians cant have good morals and also offer things that would benefit us in the future??
The options said a christian with good morals..... and I obviously said that they did..... in no way did I say they didn't. Please read my post as i wrote them.
ur right its because the presidents job is to improve the society we have churches and priests for religion lol
We had a discussion about this in my American Government Honors College class...and we talked about how the United States would see an African-American President, a Jewish President, and A female President before we saw an Atheist President..and the whole class pretty much agreed. While, a lot of the American public may not believe in god, the majority of the American public is actually pretty religious. . and an Atheist President...is not likely for some time...
I would probably vote for Dennis. I forget his last name, but he has great plans, great morals and he has a pretty awesome wife.
it doesnt really matter, but its hard not to be biast on this. i would vote for the christian, just cuz i am.
