most people and scientists say its the big bang, ive heard this a lot, but i really dont understand what that means, like...what was here before the big bang? or was it just an empty space of nothingness?

I look at this in many different ways because if the universe was always thier what was before that? And if it was a huge rovk what created that? and why would it blow up? and what created that? and what was the thing that created the creater and who brought that or him into existance??? o_O :| :|

I was raised and taught that God made it, yet from what I see the 'end' will come before anything too terrible can happen.

Apparently some people are pointing to some of the horrific things going on in the world today as some of the signs pointed out in The Bible, so I'm thinking this world won't last another 10k years, which in perspective, isn't that long. xD

I do believe in evolution. I however also believe that that one little organism or chemical that started this world had to come from somewhere. That is where God comes in in my theory.

Hmm the theory of evolution is not all wrong. However, I only believe in the theory of macroevolution, where things evolve and change in minute amounts, and not when a non-living creature can evolve to become a human being.

I think that the anti-gravity of which you speak is called dark energy, but I'm not sure.

    Umm... No.

The details of the big bang are still being worked out, though the theory may be disproved at some point (as may any theory). At this point, it is not a valid question to ask what happened before the big bang. Time does not exist without space, so if space doesn't exist, neither does that question.

Then don't post on a debate thread.

I love the God of the gaps.

Evolution (at least the biological type) and abiogenesis have nothing to do with the beginning of the universe.

First of all, I believe you mean you only believe in microevolution. Gotta get your views clear ;D.

Secondly, the theory is not many theories of different types of evolution (1 macroevolution=many microevolutions).

We finally get to my views on the subject.
The evidence seems to be currently stacked for the expansion of space-time, so I'm all for that.

The site's rules regarding gravedigging defines the act as "posting a worthless message in a thread that has not been posted in at least 7 days." Though I am indeed posting on a thread after the 7 day mark, my post is not worthless; therefore, it cannot be considered gravedigging.

    loopholes ftw =D
