I think I would vote for the one who preserves life, and since I don't really want to get too far off topic, I'll pretty much leave it at that.

Let's say if both were for/against, I'd look at all the things that would more closely affect me.

The atheist would only be a benefit for our country in the long run. Therefore I vote athiest.

No idea, as we aren't given their ploitical background, solutions to specific problems etc.
    It's just to vague.

I don't know, given some of the races that have happened lately, I'd rather be able to say I didn't vote for any of the candidates than to say that I voted for "that other guy who would have been just as corrupt and incompetent"

Really thought proviking question here. I'd say Christian though. Religious beliefs were made so that we can live well. Thus, in time, religion WILL lead to prosperity - just like the Atheist would lead to. Only catch is, religion would also teach proper morals while the atheist would not. Too bad the US has neither of a president atm. :/

i wouldn't vote. if i was only given those two choices, and those were the only platforms given to me, i wouldn't vote. the separation of church and state... what is that again? because our country doesn't seem to have it. obama wouldn't allow gay marriage because he said the bible states that marriage is a holy thing between a man and a woman. sure, me and my best friend jill over there can get a civil union, but that's it. i'm not allowed to say she's my wife.

besides, who really cares about this country right now? i want to know what the christian and the atheist would do about africa, the middle east, pollution, world-wide awareness of aids and global warming.

Well USUALLY that atheist is a liberal and the christian is conservative so I'd go for the Christian because I do not view things the same way as Obama etc.

I would never base my opinion on a religion. They are both human beings, and the one that can offer the most to my interest would win. END OF STORY.
