Yea, halo is the best, deff. worth the money...and the times spent lasering people XD...god I love it B)
I love the sniping.. so battle rifle and sniper rifle are the bomb. B) But, some other combos are pretty slayorific as well.
If you have an xbox or a 360 but not the halo series then get it...if not then look at some other games on the 360 n if they interest you go for it, if not then its not worth it
IMO halo sucks. The story sucks and the game sucks. You run around shooting at stuff with little backstory to support it all. The story is all there but it's very blah. The only "good" thing with halo is halo 2's online. It's considered one of the best online expieriences in a game. As to whoever said that halo set the standard for all current fps's i call bull. Name one thing that halo "set" as a norm. If anything half life is still the basis of all current FPS's. But then you also have games like crysis, bioshock, fear who take the formula and add their twists to it while keeping the game fun. Also their stories aren't bland like Halo's with many twists and turns. IMO halo lies at the bottom of the current FPS genre, it's hyped up way past what it actually is. People just never take their time to play other fps's to realize that Halo isn't really all that great. Before anyone asks yes I've played both halo 1 and 2. 1 is better by a small margin but it's still boring nontheless.
ya. xbox live is my favorite part of all the halos. campaign is crappy but cool and good but just its like not long. hey i got xbox live if anyone has it too my username is cob xpykonan add me i got to lvl 44 in a month XD but yea one of my fav things is the theater they added. but if u try to load an 8 player game in theater its slow

I was playing Halo yesterday.. it's a widely played game.. people at my school and friends around me discuss it so much. I don't play anything FPS so I can't really compare
I agree; I wouldn't like Halo 3 nearly as much as I do if I didn't have xbox live. Campaign is... eh. But playing online is a lot of fun.

Depends... Halo is GREAT if you have LIVE but the single player sux after awhile I recommend COD4(Call of Duty 4) Because the single player is Epic but the multiplayer kind of lacks if you play on the larger maps If you flash your 360, then u can get both games as backups
