Its interesting can you give me the actuall purple of the game? lol all I have been able to do is get to the first town... lol I think its the first town anyways. and get to level 6

and i sudjest you to lvl to lvl 8 first if ur gonna be a mage or lvl 10 if ur gonna be a warrior / thief/ bowman
stay in the island until then once u get to does lvls go to south perry and use the boat and then u will be in vic thats were all the parties are at =D if u need more help after that let me know! =D

 

are you playing maple global or SEA if it is SEA i might be able to help and btw that is a town only acessable by jobless chars

 

But i mean is there an actual purpose to the game? Is the pvp? Dueling? Something other than just pve? Plus I forgot my un and pass already ROFL

 

i was always stuck at the beginning and never got past it!! so i uninstalled it. lol :lol:

 

All you do is fight stuff, level up and yeah. It's boring Some people find it fun though. There's no PvP or anything.

 

Maple story is pure grind. For me if a game doesn't have PvP I can't play it :S!

Yep, its more or less pure grind. There are quests and other little stuff that you can do, but it all amounts to grinding.

MS is a game of hackers, no lifes, and azn wannabes

Don't get into it unless you want to use it as a training ground for learning how to use cheat engine, its like a gateway drug, once you play it you go deeper and deeper into gaming

 

i've been playing legit for a while and wow is maplestory a grind.. i feel so tired and i'm only lvl 50 something.. haha.

 

it is fun when you get the hang of it. paining gets annoying though.

 

The purpose of the game is play with friends and level up together and do basically everything in the game together. The more friends you have the more fun your supposed to have.

 

It was pretty fun in the beginning but it gets repetitive after playing for awhile. There were also lots of hackers so it made the game more and more boring for me.

 

i find it hard to make friends on maplestory if you don't know them in real life (im a girl). basically, none of the girls want to be your friends well, i hardly even see any on. secondly, all the guys go "BE MY GF??? YOU HAVE NX??" such creepers.

 

Yup it was hard to find other people to play with unless you knew them in real life and I noticed when I went on a level 20 character and went to my friends they treated me like a noob. But once I was back on my main which was level 50 I suddenly wasn't a noob anymore.

Also I don't like the fact how all the high level players use NX. I haven't seen anyone on the top 100 list who hasn't used NX for clothes or whatever.

 

I love using NX for clothes. Without the hair i bought and clothes i look gross. XD
Plus alot of people treat you better if you use NX.

Its also easier to level up if you do the monster carnival.
I think its fairly easy to meet people. Ive met tons of people and they always helped me out.
You could also join a guild but they arent always great.
