I'm learning how to rS and failing miserably and I just came up with an idea.. how about a simple browser where n00b RSers like me could use? What it would do is have the curser already on the price negotiation thing that way you don't waste time clicking there and some how, you can just hit enter instead of clicking on the neopet in the image? is that possible? eta: also, maybe it could reload itself every minute?
That would be really easy to make, and it would also be a good idea. Maybe something like a browser, it refreshes at a set time interval and if it finds the item, it just clicks it. It will then calculate the haggle price and put it into the text box, then all you would have to do is clicking the image. Really good idea, a semi-autobuyer
lol i wasn't thinking about the calculating the price part (because I'd wnat to do that myself to be as legit as possible) but it could work.. oh and I just found out last night that its random so maybe the brower could reload every 13, 14, and 15 seconds? or something?
Heck, you might as well then make a neofriends broswer, with a toolbar, where you an press multiple tings ( dailies / igloo / autopricer, etc ) and make the toolbar based for each person on what programs he has, so he can only use that. Maybe just nice to see how the program "works" , by seeying it do all steps, but i'm not sure if it would be hard or simple to code, but i think it would take a while
Not only would it require a completely rewritten program, it'd also be slower. Not to mention extremely useless.
True, but if you look at it that way, i don't see the use of this whole idea anyway, to get a semi-autobuyer, heck, if you want to manually slow the RS-ing down, just put a time delay on it. Even though, on the other hand, to give all newbies this, so they got to atleast do something...go ricky go! >_>
It would be alot slower, really I see no need, with opera you have autorefresh and image blocking so this is almost like opera and would require ie and will take alot longer to run so I don't see a use in this program
Re - stocking it easy use igloo and use a good browser i use mozilla firefox 3 beta 1 or opera 9.24 or netscape 9.0
It's not useless at all. It would just be a program to HELP legit restockers, and it wouldn't be a autobuyer... It would load everything as a regular browser, even javascript and all the checks! It would be a RS helper.
If your goal is to make it so the user only has to click the neopet on the picture, you'd be better of creating a program that downloads only the captcha image, and ask the user to click on the pet, get the coordinates and send it through. If not, the 'customized browser' would load all images, scripts, etc..., automatically link to the item you wish to buy (which would be faster without loading the images, scripts..., automatically input the haggle price (again, faster without loading everything) and click the captcha. I really don't see the surplus value of a similar program.
I agree with that, why bother helping Legit RS-ers, if they find themself legit by not using programs, then using what ricky is considering, will make them unlegit. All i can think of this is that it might be usefull to see how the bot does the things, and you can view/adjust it, if needed, or just, make this avaible for low point, and the other AB-ers higher, to make the people do atleast something. And if this is just to make it more legit, all autobuyers have time delay functions and whatnot ( i think i already said that, to lazy to look up )
WHat would be the most legit version a greasemonkey script that does this, it would be able to refresh and if it finds the item click it. Here is what I am saying abot the problems about it, alot slower since if you havn'tnoticed using the html visulizer that you use in debugging is the embed ie window which is pretty slow and also with firefox you could choose not to load certain images to increase the time and such. In what I was sayin eilier you probley be better off making a gresemonkley script for this but persoanlly like an account generator I don't see this as an efficent program.
Back to the original idea, I don't think pressing enter to "click" the pet would be possible by anyone here. (If at all that is.) It would be a nice feature of any half-ABer, but in reality I can't see it happening.
i could do it with scar (ie i have a pet clicker and could make it so it clicks when you press enter)
