No, you have to pay, like me, or use a Private Server... Which are gay, just pay for it, people buy $17 lunches in NY so $13 a month isn't that bad!!!

Unfortunately not, which is quite sad.
You'll have to pay like everyone else, unless you hack it I guess.

What exactly is WoW? I mean, I know it's World of Warcraft unless I'm severely mistaken, but I've never known what it entails.

    /sigh

Go to your local game store, buy World of Warcraft and join the online sensation before we all murder you.

From Wikipedia: World of Warcraft (commonly known as WoW) is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). It is Blizzard Entertainment's fourth game set in the fantasy Warcraft universe, which was first introduced by Warcraft: Orcs & Humans in 1994.[3] World of Warcraft takes place within the world of Azeroth, four years after the events at the conclusion of Blizzard's previous release, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. Blizzard Entertainment announced World of Warcraft on September 2, 2001.[4] The game was released on November 23, 2004, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Warcraft franchise. It is currently the world's largest MMORPG in terms of monthly subscribers.[5][6][7] World of Warcraft currently holds 62% of the MMOG market at 10 million subscribers. The current subscriber base for all MMOGs is 16 million

    Hope that helps!

You are better off playing on a p2p server, the free servers are fun until you do everything in a day then sit there wondering what a waste.

WoW takes commitment unless you hack.....

No WoW cannot be "free", but you can get online sponsors to pay for you

You can play WoW for free, but on private servers. But private servers really... s*** (sorry ><)

You don't get as much XP, etc. And 13$ a month it's not a lot for this awesome game ;)

The only way is private servers and I think you can download WoW from torrents.

But I too think it would be worth it to pay for the game because it seems like such an awesome game but Im too afraid to play it because I know I will get hooked on it and thats something I want to avoid.

I used to play on retail, but now I just play on private servers.
You can download the actual game somewhere for free on the internet, I'm sure...

it is possible to get WoW for free, only the private server ones. I heard downloading crack versions of WoW might work, but i do not trust those programs.
