The Death Penalty

Imo, a lifetime in jail is pretty much a death penalty. I...kinda agree with it. If you've murdered somebody, I guess it's fair that your life is taken. Anything that ruins or ends a life is up for a death penalty.

 

A lot of people end up killing them selfs in jail, or trying to.
So let's do it for them?

Perhaps if you are suicidal they should put you on the death penalty?

All I know is I'd rather know somebody is in a jailcell rotting and never being able to get out, than them being dead.

because giving them a life sentence is for them to suffer! killig them will make things to easy =]

 

Since i haven't seen what's on the other side [but i will undoubtly see one day] my current oppinion is that no one deserves to DIE. Maybe just suffer a bit

 

its a pretty hard decision, because putting them on death row costs us money, i mean think about it. they have 2 wait to die, and while they are waiting, they get to be warm and eat before they die, they should just shoot em on the spot.

 

yea you have a point. the government spends soo much money giving criminials food and shelter, when some of them have done horrible things and don't even deserve that.

I think some people really deserve it but what if there wrongly accused..what if i get wrongly accused of something one day..

 

the death penalty should played out this way....the people who come to death row should have 1-3yrs to prove there innocence if not then...they should enforce the death penalty on the individual who is charged with the crime

 

I disagree With the Death Penalty to be Honest

 

The Only reason I think the death Penalty Should be given If its for a Serial Killer

and they Should only give it to the Person when they are sleep or make them asleep

 

I don't think there should be the death penalty. Human rights say there is a right to life but yet the US kills people for killing other people. Life in prison is worse than the death penalty, so it should be the maximum sentence allowed.

 

Hmm justifying a wrong doing like the death penalty (which is anoter nicer word of murder) to a heinous crime commited makes no sense at all. We all should practice forgiveness to the people. Why dwell in the past when it cannot been changed anymore?

i don't think the government should have the right to control who lives or who dies and i just don't think death is a reasonable punishment for crimes. i'm definitely against it

 

Death isn't the solution to these kind of problems. Torture also has it's merits.
