aoe is the best online game ever easily no matter if it was aoe1 ror aoc or tad now (im __darkmaster in all of them btw) they were best oline games ive ever played and still play them all the time

 

lol, that's just your opinion. But yeah, I agree that AoE is an amazing game. Some of the campaigns are really hard and you can also make a lot of fun and interesting scenarios. One thing I don't like about it is that its not free

ahhaha played this game back in the day it was awesome and it still is. i love it but warcraft is the only thing that come close to it.

yea same i played this back in the day too, havent played in years tho. sometimes i get on starcraft broodwar once every couple months just for fun

 

i've never played it online, i don't think i am anywhere close to good enough. i have played more empire earth too, and don't blame me for that, i was introduced to it first

still, aoe 3 is a good one, even though the original was the best lol, and i still find that aom titans is a good one too, really interresting campain

 

I love the AoE series! I played 2 alot and played online as well with all the different modes people made. I would still be playing it today but the MSN site it was on got changed to gamespy and it doesn't work at all. Im really upset that I can't play online anymore unless you get a host and have their IP.

4 vs 4 matches were super fun =D

I used to play it ALL THE TIME - mainly Age of Mythology though.

 

I like Empire Earth better than AOE, it's on a much bigger scale and you can advance to much further technology's such as the space age.

 

I want to play Empire Earth. Is there a way to play it online other than that gamespy site? Like something has a lobby and you join rooms and can play online?
