lmao B) I just saw it yesterday > I thought it was really good, but not absolutely amazing. Ledger's performance as the Joker was very good and original. I would have preferred to see more cool gadgets of Batman, but w/e, minor details. 9/10
Yeah I didn't see much of the gadgets but I wasn't really expecting any either. I just loved every bit of Ledger's performance.
I was not to impressed by it, while it was an alright movie... people built me up saying this movie was liek #1 !!!! so mabe that made me expect much more, overall tho, it was ok.
I liked the movie but I'm going to have to agree with Pionex.. all the reviews and such make The Dark Knight out to be a movie of an entirely new caliber, however I didn't feel it was quite that great..
Oh really? It would be a shame to stop after 3, especially w/ all the commercial success. There are so many bad guys still out there in the batman world, plus we've yet to see Robin.
REalistically I can only see, Riddler, Harley Quinn, Maybe Ivy, or Dr. Freeze as villains. The rest aren't really that easy to work with.
Well, w/ those, you can do a film for each of them. You should have at most only 2 major villains in a single film. Even w/ two its difficult work out unless the two are working together. Look at Spiderman 3, it was awful IMO.
The Dark Knight did two villians pretty well. True, Two Face wasn't on screen for very long really and played only a very very minor role...but still. In a 2 villian film, I believe it's important to have the one the FANS want the most to be the main one....which is why spiderman 3 sucked. You do NOT condone venom to a 20 minute cameo, and then barely show his face at all, when ALL the hype on the movie was FOR him!! Like come on.
i finally got around to seeing the dark knight yesterday and it was AWESOME. anyway, i heard that christopher nolan said that he wouldn't want to do a batman trilogy because of spiderman 3's flop. christian bale is reported to have wanted to continue with a trilogy but he said doing with without nolan would be strange.
True, at least with this one they Hype was for the Joker not Two-Face. Spoiler Spoiler I facepalmed myself when the kids behind me were like OMG its two-face when the see harvey with the bandages on half his face. It's Harvey fkin Dent.... you've got to know he's Two-Face.... >_>
I saw it and I loved it. It's the only Batman movie I've seen (that I can remember) and I think it's great!
