Lol..... why not ask the reverse question? Okay ladies, how do you feel about smacking a guy? I don't mean in fun, I mean in a seriously pissed off situation. I know it happens because I've seen it happen... this is just a chance for people here to air out how they feel. Justified or not? Dangerous or no? Situations I've witnessed: 1) Maybe you're tired of his ass and you want to break up with him but you haven't yet, so you're in that stage where you're annoyed with pretty much everything he does.... do you haul off and smack him a good one when he pisses you off hoping he'll get a clue and stop trying to see you? 2) What if you're out in public and you see a guy picking on a girl and you just feel like standing up for her? Do you go get in his face and start cursing him out, putting your hand in his face, and pushing him, the whole time daring him to hit you as though you're Supergirl and his fist will break on you?
Well I don't have a second X chromosome so I can't reply from that standpoint.. however, every girl I've dated or even know has never hesitated to hit me when they felt I deserved it poor me

Well, your not a girl because you have two X chromosomes. The sex determining factor is the presence of the Y chromosome.
Obviously double standards suck, but in today's society it seems alright for a girl to smack a guy, where as the reverse could gain someone jail time. I think if a girl smacks a guy, he has every right to hit her back. And the same is true for men hitting women. If you don't want it done to you, just don't do it. Obviously a playful "hit" from either sex is different, but men even get looked down upon for faking hitting a girl. Get over it. I just think it's dumb, that's all.

A girl should only have to hit a guy if their breaking the law. Other than that any other situation deserves a good beat down to show who the alpha male is.
I believe abuse is wrong in general. A man hitting a woman is wrong, and he will goto jail for it. A woman hitting a guy is just as wrong. Though, I feel there are certain situations in which a woman needs to defend herself if a guy is trying to cause her harm. But that is just defending, and the same goes for a guy. If a woman is trying to nail him in the nads for no reason at all, he deserves to be able to defend himself.
