I'm not sure how many of you know about this, but when I took Shakespeare, I was really lazy and didn't want to read all the lines and figure out the language. There's this thing called No Fear Shakespeare which pretty much "translates" the text from Shakespearean language to modern english. you can find it through sparknotes, or just google it ;)

I've seen it before but I don't really like it that much. It just sounds kinda weird and you and you can't really analyze it for structural stuffs. All you really get out of No Fear Shakespeare is the plotline.

    lazypando is right.

No Fear Shakespeare offers a literal translation of passages within these plays. While it is easier to understand in modern English, this device strips the plays of its poetic structure and undertones, destroying the artistic foundation and intricacies of Shakespeare's works.

I suggest that you only use this to gain a clearer understanding of the plot. Otherwise, you would be better off analyzing the original version of the text if you are seeking a greater understanding of theme, character, tone, imagery, and basically any other poetic/literal device.
