Hmm, I have to say I think neopets will slowly lose their members by adding more and more annoying features to the site, like if they add something like (Change your neopet to any color you want here) a lot of members would leave because they would think after years of spending and earning enough nps for paint brushes and stuff, newbies click a button and bam, their dream pet in an instance, but of course, I don't think TNT are dumb enough to actually do something like that.
The same thing will happen with neopets that happens with forums, and communities, they all eventually die out for some reason or another, its not a question of if but when.

I think they will start charging for most part and limit its free use untill you reach its level or nps.
If Neopets ended, I would think that either it would evolve into something bigger and be called something besides Neopets, or another corporation will create something better and everyone will change over to the new game.
I think they will end up selling neopets to a new company, then they will either just try to please the users and not make enough profit, or they will go overboard with adds and such and people will just stop playing.
Neopets will turn in a MMO soon (like age of conan), free-to-play, full of nerds and cheaters. This is what I think
I would think that as kids grow old, they either quit the game or hack, and newer generations probably won't know what neopets is. Decline in players, yup

Bill Gate has some daughter, she plays neo, they freeze her, the Bill Gate sues, and then neopets will have to lick Bill Gate's feet to get neo back together but he won't do it so BOOM TNT cries :yup:
my prediction is that the neopets players will become so corrupted from hacking that neopets will be bankrupted or inflated heavily enough to shut down the website.
I doubt Neopets will die just because some people get bored with it. There are still millions of other players who'll spend their time there doing other stuff like participating beauty contests or play games. Some people have even found new friends there. If and when Neopets ends it'll be due to some superhacker who wrecks the site so bad it can't be rebuilt. That or the end of internet.
