Well, like you know, I'm french, and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to translate your most popular programs in French. Personnally, I'm pretty good in English so I can understand, but I know some of my friends that are really... not good xD It's just and idea, maybe there's not enough French people, etc. ^^ PS : I can help for translating.
It's possible for us to incorporate it, it's just hard cause it takes a lot of time to change the text of the labels and display boxes. Maybe if I had a specific request for one program, but not for every program I make :\
It shouldn't be hard if you start a program with the purpose of making it multi-language. You could use the Language system they use on phpBB3, which is an array of keys and values. The key is the part which will be replaced by the value (the real language part). Eg: you put in a label {STATUS}: if the language is English, it will be replaced by "Status"; if it's Italian, by "Stato".
