    What do you think?

Personally i think their both equal, and they can do what the other one can do.

I'm sure that men and women work as much as the other, but it may be for different things.
If we take a married couple for example, the woman may be a mother, and running the house. This could be just as much work or more than the husband, who goes to work.
There are no doubt that woman are better at than men in some areas, and it also works the other way.
As for how hard guys work compared to girls, we all have our degrees of laziness, and it would vary from person to person.

To get a real answer, you would have to specify what you are asking. For instance, are you asking which gender has the most jobs in the world/US? Are you asking which gender's most common job is more labor-intensive?

The thought that both genders are equal is a flawed statement in and of itself. No woman can do everything any other woman can do, each one has their own strengths and weaknesses. The same can be said for men. It is likely however, that you can find a male that has similar strengths and weaknesses as a particular female. The reproductive organs do not always define the person.

I think guys do more work than girls. If you did that census thing to see how many women you see working in an area or state compared to men I think men would be higher.

It really depends on what you define work as.

If you are thinking of job-work, then I would say men do more work.
If you include cleaning the house, etc. then I would say women.

Yes... sadly this is the truth where I live too. I mean not in all Europe... I've read that in North Europe (Finland, Norway and Sweden) for example men and women have jobs equally.
But for the rest, woman are too busy with the house maintenance (children, housekeeping, grocery shoppings, etc) that they have no time to do other jobs or they mainly do part-time jobs.
And here this is a quite dramatic situation 'cause salaries are very low :/

Again, this is one of those situational things, you can't use one type of logic for everyone, it just doesn't work.

If your just looking at it from a statistical point of view then you would have to ask, exactly what is work?

I hate when women try to do things just for the sake of showing the man they can. Don't do things for the power it gives, do what you belive in.

How do you know it? Why you men, are so self-centered to think that women do hard jobs only to compete with you? =__=

You know what I mean =P Women have better things to do than do something only to show they are able to do it... and actually, this childish behaviour is a typical men's behaviour :)

That's a good point, theres a lot of iniquality in the world, that doesn't allow for race/sex to have their rights.

Definitly guys...there are to many girls even without babies that depend on their boyfriend/husband.There are hard working independent girls out there, but not as many as there should be.

yes,but it also depends on the government.if it gives high dotations for women with four or more children, they usually just stay at home and take care for the kids.it's hard to have a job and four or more kids.
