lol, I guess everyone entitled their own opinions. I'm not even sure of the games genre, but I assume rpg, or similiar after hearing the word mage :p I have however been curious about it as it's not the first time I heard it's name.

I would actually like to know a few things about it, first being platform, or consoles supported and created for. What's the story like, and how would you rate the game on a 1-10 scale. Overall I believe user-based opinions to be more win than any big company review. Thanks in advance for your responses if any. :)

    Storyline: 0!!!!!!!

As far as I know it doesn't have a storyline at all which is why this shouldn't be called a MMORPG! This game is nothing but leveling up, fighting stronger monsters, level up again, get better armor and weapons, fight stronger monsters, level up, better armor, repeat.

They should make a new game type for those that you just level up because a RPG is one where you choose your hero and embark on a quest to do something and the game actually has an ending.

Also this is a MMORPG that you can find here http://www.nexon.net/NX.aspx?PART=/Main However the game can get fun because you have people around your level and you can show off to them by how much stronger you are than them etc. You won't have much fun if you play this game by yourself.

To sum up, it's addicting and boring.
    Not worth playing.

I thought Maplestory was extremely boring.

Find some friends to play it with and you might have more fun competing with each other and helping each other out =/

That's the way forward to any online game, otherwise you'd get bored very very quickly.

I liked Maplestory for a while but the absence of PvP got the better of me in the end.

I used to play Maplestory, in MapleSea. i think it was addictive for a while, after the grinding and stuff x_x, then i started to try out hacking by going to the forums, and stopped after a few bans, lol. Recently MapleSea server was hacked by people from china, resulted in quite some losses from a lot of accs there from what i heard, making them completely banning china IP, lol

I used to play Maple Story. I would even go as far as to call myself a Maple-holic.

But, after a while, the grinding for 10 hours just to gain 1 level became so boring that I just couldn't take it any more. Even the quest were hella boring. Killing 600 monsters for a piece of equipment that sucks? Nty.

I think Gunbound is the game you're looking for.

I used to think it was fun, I mean when my friends still play it and stuffs, so yea it's mostly a social game. Leveling wasn't really a problem for me, it would be hard if you just start cause you wouldn't know alot of stuffs. For me, I got to level 136 and 146 in MapleSEA with 2x EXP cards (have to buy with cash).

Come to think of it, I wonder how much I actually spent on the game itself. Eventually when my friends stopped playing one by one, I also began to stop playing and started doing stuffs like selling ZK service and through the mesos I earned from the service, sell for real life money. I've sold my lvl 136 nl and am looking for a buyer for my 146 dk for now though it's pretty hard now I guess, with all the private servers and people quitting the market is pretty spoilt.

QFT. It's only fun when you have friends that play it too. You usually make friends along the way from being a beginner to a forth job character.

leveling is freaking addicting. the pqs are fun though, idk why. they're sort of simple and repetitive but i guess it's the whole leveling thing again xD when you actually get in - you're like omg, yay.
