    Anyone saw it?
I don't know how long it's been in America, but we just made a similar program here in Denmark.
I didn't see so much of it, but I saw SOME of it. And I REALLY thought to myself: why would ANYONE wanna be in that chair? It's just insane. I mean, some of the questions are really mean. Like: have you ever cheated on your husband? Just for an example.
And then I thought: of course.. money! And how ridiculous is it to see how much we people can do just for money o_O
I just saw a recap of the American show on youtube and there was a lady saying: money isn't an issue, I just need to get some things off my cheast.
Ehhh, NO YOU DON'T. It's all about money. Why would you share your secrets with all of America if it wasn't?

What do you guys think aboht this controversial tv show? Have we gotten too far for entertainment? I think so.

Yeah we have something similar here... but I don't care so much about this kind of shows, I think it's all made up to collect audience! Fake stories, fake people, I'm sure. At least where I live, otherwise a show like this wouldn't have on TV because of the privacy and ethic issues :/
Dunno if in other countries this show uses true stories and people... if so I agree with you, money are taking us towards a point of no return... what is the point of having money without having freedom?
I think people go there to gain a bit of fame, but I really wouldn't =P

yeah, I actually think you're right.
in America it might be fake people, but I doubt it is here. I mean, we're such a small country, and people know each other (not everyone but, you know xD) and I would be surprised if the show was "fake". But it does seem kinda fake, and I think if you go into something like that, you have to tell everyone that a lie detector isn't always true. I don't know, I still think it's insane to go into something like this :p not all people think that it's fake :b

No, it's not fake it's just set-up. They ask questions that they're sure of the answer in advance on. By that I mean if you ask a woman (or a guy, I guess) who has been married three years if they ever felt like they made a mistake marrying, you know goddamn well the truthful answer is yes. Like it or not, whether they stuck through it or not, people have those thoughts. That leaves you with two options - lie and get booted out, or tell the truth and have it cast in a totally unfair light. It's bullshit, but people watch it.
Bring a supermodel guy on stage for a woman with a dorky husband and ask - "Would you rather have sex with this man or with your husband?" Does it make her bad to say the other guy? No, it means she's not blind. But saying it out loud is something that should never happen and would never happen but for this show.
It's bullshit, but people watch it. I saw one and a half episodes.

    Yeah, I see your point.
But there is questions like: did you ever steal from your work, flirted with someone to get a job, cheated on your husband, had a homosexual experience, etc. that isn't something that EVERYONE would do.

Yeah, they aren't all set-up questions. I left that out - didn't feel like mentioning the fact - but it's quite true. I think they ahve the set-up questions in place just to ensure a "good" show... so even if they get someone squeaky clean they'll still be able to make them look bad.

I think it deals with the last TV show type to be untapped. The total truth. If you can't lie, it can't possibly be scripted... Can it?

Yeah it's kinda sad that the show has potential to break up families.
After all "What you don't know can't hurt you"
This show is controversy to that. Then again..I guess if you're really a loyal person and have nothing to hide, you can win very easy money.
They tend to pick people with family problems and stuff imo.

Yeah, but I just don't think there is ANYONE who has nothing to hide...
I mean, if you ask them what they think about something. Let's say.. Like the guy who was asked if he was repulsed by fat people. He has to be honest. And that's fair, but people just get "=o whow, what a jerk" about it ?

Ahaha yeah I get what you mean xD It's like a perfect time to get to know someone for WHO they are, stuff like that.
I remember this one girl who was on it, she was so unloyal to her husband, and she was flirting with the host, and like she admitted to everything =.= Poor girl...her husband must hate her afterwards.
She answers in this cocky tone too.
But hey we're humans...we...hide things xD

lol, yeah xD I have a boyfriend, I can still look after other guys and maybe flirt with them . I just don't do more, and that's okay. I would feel it was okay that he did it ( I know he does ) and that's just in our nature XD we just don't tell it to the entire world =D (at least not those of us who hasn't participated in the tvshow ;D)
