Twilight?

So I know that all of the 15 year old girls are going gaga for this, my girlfriend (who's 18) saw it today, she said it was actually good. Anyone seen it?

 

Well, the story is kinda mushy and its more on romance with a supernatural theme being a side element. It's okay if you like love stories with all the betrayal and drama that comes with things like that.

 

Vampires are retarded...I don't know why everyone is obsessed with them all of a sudden

The South Park episode regarding this was great.

More on topic: I haven't seen the movie, don't plan to, I believe it is really horrible

 

Honestly, I think that the portrayal of vampires is important in books/movies. In the twilight saga they were put forward as romanticists rather than blood thirsty demons. Dunno, depends on your opinions. I prefer the book over the movie coz the actors don't look at all what I pictured them to be.

 

I didn't like the book(s). It was too much of a purple prose romance for my taste. The movie was alright, I think... but one of my buds, who is a fan of Twilight, said she hated the movie.

 

I heard it was super cheesy, and it was funny when it wasn't supposed to be. My friends said it was a terrible movie. I'm definitely not going to see it.

 

I liked the book a lot but I can't bring myself to go see it out because I'm terribly afraid of running into fanatics and laughing at them while they have their fangs in.

My sister, 19yo, just saw it and loved it, and mentioned there weren't too many scary tweens in the Ithaca, NY area.

 

lol. Are there actually people so crazed about Twilight they become fanatics? Honestly i thought that the books were pretty average. And i read the entire series

Somehow I don't think so.
I think all of the male members will be dying to voice their opinions of Twilight without being discriminated against by the female population because of internet anonymity
And yeah, I think they should have chosen better actors.
