Hi, I have a topic for homework to do, and it requires about 1.2k words, and I'm stuck at 400+ words.

    Topic is:
    Is the majority always right?

I have written that no the majority isn't always right, and some points about bandwagon, gambling odds, countries being ruled by laws and not by the people etc.

Any more pointers I can add to my essay?

    Thanks!

Add how the majority says that some drugs aren't harmful, yet in actual fact they are

how the majority of people look at someone and say they're a bad person just by looking at them but they're wrong 3/4 of the time.

I have a point something I learned in statistics. The Majority is allot of the times biased or are easily influenced by the thoughts of the number they'd have to face if they were to go with the minority.

you have 4 map points, that should bring you close to 2k words if you just elaborate. you shouldnt use things based on opinion eother (such as the point about drugs since it isnt proven that the majority believes that)

Well I actually haveabout 6 points now, and I used to have no problem elaborating a whole junk so that I hit 3k words, but my teacher always says I go out of point later.:( Thank you for the tip though, I'll try and see how I can elaborate without going off-topic.

I think I get your point, thanks for the contribution!:)

The majority is not always right. But how can you determine what's 'right'? What's right to one person, can be wrong to another.

I was always taught to argue both sides, and choose my side in the conclusion, so you could bring in a contrasting arguement and that should boost your word count considerably.
