Well me and my friend had to video tape us demonstrating how to do a fast ball in French. So video taping took about 1 and a half hours, while editing took about an hour. I edited it in Windows Movie Maker (was in a rush because it is due tomorrow) and now the god damn file won't save.

I try to save it to my computer but it keeps saying "Windows Movie Maker cannot save the movie to that specified location. Verify that the original source files used in your movie are still available, that the saving location is still available (it is) and that there is enough free space on your disk and try again"

I can't send the MSWMM extension file to my friend because he's offline, and I don't know his phone number. So tomorrow in my second class, my friend is gonna be pissed, and my teacher is gonna whip my ass! Gonna be fun.

Can you actually save the windows media maker file?
Because if you can, perhaps you can transfer the file to a friend's comp, as well as the video files.
So you just open the windows media maker file, and specify the locations of your video files.

Well good news, my friend wasn't actually asleep as I thought he was, I told him about the problem and sent him the project file (not the .avi/.wmv). He wasn't able to save it, so we were stumped until he noticed that I was using a black screen .avi file (to help make the special affects more clear), when I sent him that + the original untouched video, he was able to save it.

We handed it in a day late, but my teacher understood the problem so it's all good :)
