I never walked anywhere in my life before I moved to a city from my rural home area, where I always took the bus. Now I walk everywhere, as there's no way I can afford a car here, and the streets are wicked hard to navigate.

I'm about an hour away from school on bus and 30 mins in car.
So I usually get a lift.
Until I get my P's then I can drive myself :D:D:D

I have to carpool to class. Catching the bus takes way too long, and I don't have my license :(

I walk, mainly because I can't afford a car at the moment. Some time in the future I would like to purchase a car so that I can travel more. :yup:

I use a tram (light rail) mainly. I hate buses.

I bus everywhere because I don't own a car.. However there is currently a bus strike. I understand they want more money, but I believe its really selfish. Every year for the passed 7 years they have pulled a "strike scare" and gotten their way. This year is the first time they stopped the bus transportation!! It really screws up my day!

Last week was my final exam period, my school is over 1.5 hours away by BUS! Fortunately my parents let me borrow the car to go do my exams.

Another issue is that my workplace is 1.5 hours away by walk, I do walk to work occasionally when buses are not around during that time of day or night. But now I face myself walking there and back everyday this holiday season. :( I really don't feel its worth working there anymore and if the strike continues until after Christmas I told my boss that I would have to leave.

In my city around 350K people take the bus everyday. And these bus drivers already make around 70k a year! I believe its an essential service especially for people who don't own a car. On the other hand though, if I had a car I would definitely be driving it around everywhere, convenience sure is amazing.

I know how you feel. I had to take the bus to school the other day (which took about an hour and fourty-five minutes D:), and take it all the way back too (which took a little longer than two hours). I spent more time riding on a bus that day than I did on my exam :/

    Bus.

Plan to drive in the future. Maybe hire a chauffeur cause that's what my classmate is doing right now. He doesn't live in my country and his chauffeur sends him to school everyday from a neighbouring country, and I think that's pretty cool cause whenever we go out the chauffeur would be at his beckon.
